Explore the life and legacy of Mary Ann McCracken (1770-1866) – philanthropist, abolitionist and social activist – who championed the cause of the disadvantaged, at home and abroad, through some of the most turbulent years of Irish history. 2020 marks 250 years since her birth, so join us to acknowledge one of the most remarkable women in Belfast’s history.

Déan iniúchadh ar shaol agus oidhreacht Mháire Áine Mhic Reachtain (1770-1866) – daonchara, cealaitheoir, agus gníomhaí sóisialta – a thacaigh le cúis na ndaoine a bhí faoi mhíbhuntáiste, anseo in Éirinn agus thar sáile, i rith cuid de na blianta ba chasta i stair na hÉireann. Is í 2020 an 250ú bliain ó rugadh í, mar sin, bí linn le duine de na mná is iontaí i stair Bhéal Feirste a aithint.
