A compilation of 3 music projects from young people in Cork: Life in Lockdown An original song written and performed by the students of Terence McSwiney Community College. With the guidance & production of Garry McCarthy (GMC Beats) and the support of JCSP Libraries & the Community Foundation of Ireland, this original song really speaks to the young person’s perspective of life in lockdown. Guest accompaniment from trad musicians Karl Nesbitt and Paul Clesham, (Creative Tradition musician educators.)

Mahon Hub ‘Lean on Me’ by Bill Withers An end of year performance of the classic Bill Wither's track "Lean on Me", recorded remotely by members of Cork Academy of Music's Mahon Hub - a fitting song for an exceptional time, bringing young people together through their love of music, while apart.

Abdul Rap MCA Abdul aka MCA is an 11 year old rapper from Gaza City, Palestine. He recently began collaborating with a youth rap group based at Youth Work Ireland Cork in Gurranabraher Cork City. They are actively working on songs and learning about one another’s culture through this experience. This piece is a collaboration between Abdul Rap MCA and GMC Beats with Youth Work Ireland Cork through the Kabin Studios, Cork. Part of the Cork Belfast Partnership
