About this Event
‘Naomhóga Chorcaí’ is not an ethnographic film but a visual poem that, in subtle lyrical ways, highlights and contrasts the cultural reach of local indigenous craftsmanship in an age of predatory capitalism. ‘It is a film that reflects the passion of two people concerned with the preservation and protection of Culture, of Craftsmanship.’ This film was an Award Winner at the Canada and Houston International Film Festivals 2019, and an Official Selection at Fasnet and Motion Pictures International Film Festival 2019. Produced by multi-award documentary filmmaker Stephen H Bean
