Peter Fahy – Belfast Trad
Peter is a graphic artist who dramatizes the mythology, politics and music of Ireland. Belfast Trad is a portrait series of local musicians. Traditional Irish players are portrayed through a stylized lens of traditional art. The portraits are representational, minimalistic and influenced by the new art movement of Transrealism. Colour, arrangement, pose, and symbolism are used to reflect the passion and energy of Trad musicians in Belfast.
