John Mallon – ‘Beauty on Our Doorstep’ Photography is John's great passion. Having suffered from mental health problems in the past, he now speaks about this publicly and uses his work to inspire positivity. “Sitting by the Mourne seaside, it is hard to believe we are in a pandemic! It makes me grateful for the Beauty on our Doorstep. My photography has taken me to many beautiful places in Ireland and beyond. One image shows an old man in Warsaw, I call him Music Man. I love trying to capture beautiful images, like the swans making a heart shape. This is a meaningful shot for me, as it was taken on the day my beautiful granddaughter, Croia, was born”
